The Secret View Experience of the Month Award for March has been won by the enthusiastic team of AMI Kappers in Nieuw-Vennep! Our mystery shoppers visit thousands of stores every month, and from all these visits, we select the most exceptional and customer-oriented experiences! This time, the award was received by the five passionate employees of AMI Kappers in Nieuw-Vennep, who do everything to ensure that their customers leave the salon with a satisfied feeling. Their commitment and customer focus have earned them this well-deserved award.

Craftsmanship and personal attention

The dedicated team, led by Sigrid, is ready every day to serve their customers. Customers return for the excellent hairdressing treatments, their expertise, and the personal attention they offer. Our mystery shopper also spoke highly of her experience in the salon:

“A better reception is not possible! Every employee greeted me kindly, my coat was taken, and I was offered something to drink. This made me feel incredibly welcome. During the treatment, my wishes were carefully asked and listened to. Washing my hair was a real treat, which allowed me to start my haircut completely relaxed. The hairdresser made a very competent impression and had a lot of knowledge of styling advice for curly hair. I am super satisfied with the result; this visit exceeded my expectations! I will definitely come back and have already told my friends about this top salon. From start to finish, everything was perfectly arranged!”

The enthusiasm of the AMI Kappers team was clear: “We are incredibly happy and think it’s great that customers appreciate our work so much. As a team, we fully commit ourselves and encourage each other to get the best out of the can every day! We find personal attention extremely important and do our best to build a strong relationship with our customers. Sometimes it’s a bit of a switch, though. One moment we share the sorrow of a customer going through a tough period, and the next moment we are happy for someone who, for example, just graduated. But because our bond with regular customers is so strong, it’s extra nice to hear now that new customers, including your mystery shopper, had the same positive experience on her first visit!”

Dea Kijk in de Vegte, HR Manager at AMI Kappers, also shares her enthusiasm: “What a joy to achieve such a beautiful result, and very nice that Secret View recognizes this with an award! At AMI Kappers, we focus on the results achieved. We do not focus on the person, but on improving our services. Aspects such as customer friendliness, hospitality, and personal hair advice are crucial, but it is mainly about the customer’s emotion and the atmosphere in the salon. After all, a visit to a salon is about the experience that a customer has. We really see Secret View as a tool to keep the quality of our salons, from experience to professional technique, optimal.”

Dea also tells us how AMI Kappers internally deals with the results from the mystery shopping research. Each franchise entrepreneur and/or manager discusses the results together with the team. Successes are celebrated, so a good score from a mystery shopper too. If a salon scores a less good score, they investigate the cause and frequency. The results of Secret View are therefore a fixed part of their formula and quality measurement system.
